Besides drinking, there were also some games to be observed. Kok Boru is by far the favorite game of the Kyrgyz. Best explained as a sort of polo but instead of a bal a goat carcass is used. There are not many rules and it is a rough game, much to the amusement of the Kyrgyz crowd, who are just as fanatic supporters as we are at a world cup soccer game.
There were a total of 37 nomadic sports, many of them on horseback. Besides the sports, many cultural traditions of the nomads are displayed over the festival. Songs, dances, crafts and clothing that is traditionally used (and still used today) for special cultural celebrations and traditions all come together during this festival.
